This document outlines the Australian olive industry’s 2026 position on the Health Star Rating in response to the potential mandate of the system.
The industry supports mandating the HSR however calls for the edible oils category to be exempt from this mandate until the algorithm is reviewed and updated to better reflect the evidence in this category.
